CARNIVAL SPIRIT IN CIRCULAR QUAY AMONG BEST DRONE IMAGES FOR 2014.
Among stunning aerials of Niagara Falls, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and a blue lagoon in French Polynesia, an image of Carnival Spirit docked in Sydney’s Circular Quay has made the cut for the best drone images of 2014.
As flying cameras become a more common way of capturing the world from above, the BBC invited the Dronestagram team - a website for drone photographers to share and discuss their favourite work - to compile their pick of drone captures for the year.
Along with Carnival Spirit’s Sydney moment, the visually stunning collection includes some of the world’s best known landmarks as well as everyday scenes such as a kids’ soccer match in Athens.
