Carnival Voted Australia’s Favourite Family Cruise Line.
Just three years after basing its first ship down under, Carnival Cruise Line has been voted Australia’s Best Family Cruise Line in the annual Out & About with Kids Best of Family Travel Awards.
Carnival Cruise Line Vice President Australia Jennifer Vandekreeke said the award was a real honour for the cruise line which prides itself on offering fun family holidays.
“Fun and families are at the heart of everything we do on our ships so this award means a lot – especially because it’s voted by Aussie families,” Ms Vandekreeke said.
“To receive this nod only a few years after moving into the Australian market is great recognition for our staff and crew.”
From interconnecting cabins in family-friendly configurations to the top deck splash park, youth programs starting from two-years-old and late-night babysitting, families of all types and sizes are looked after on Carnival’s ships.
Australian-based superliner Carnival Spirit, which sails year-round from Sydney, and sister ship Carnival Legend, which sails from Australia over the summer months, also offer Seuss at Sea, 24-hour pizza and ice cream, Cherry on Top lolly shop and Hasbro the Game Show, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in life-size versions of their favourite childhood games.
The 2015 Out & About with Kids awards feature 16 categories across a variety of Australian and international travel products and are voted for by the magazine’s readers.
