Carnival Cruise Lines’ latest Australian ship, Carnival Legend, cruised from Sydney for the first time with thousands of legends onboard – compliments of the travel industry.
The shipload of legends included Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis and Abba as well as some Aussie legends like Nemo, Dame Edna, Kylie and Crocodile Dundee.
The legendary overnight cruise showcased Australia’s newest ship to agents and industry members and included a walk of fame with “legends” greeting guests at each checkpoint.
Guests were also treated to tasting plates from Bonsai Sushi, Thirsty Frog beers in the RedFrog Pub, an epic rock show in the theatre and an entertaining glimpse into Hasbro, The Game Show with Crocodile Dundee, aka Carnival CEO and President Gerry Cahill, firing the winning shot in a life-sized Connect 4 game.
Carnival Legend departs from Sydney today on its first official Australian itinerary, a 12-night roundtrip cruise to Fiji, Vanuatu and New Caledonia.
